Description
The Birmingham class is the largest carrier vessel in the CEGA fleet. The first CEGA ship focused on delivering large numbers of Exo-armors into battle, the Birmingham can launch 16 Exos into combat. CEGA is hoping that by concentrating so many Exos on a single vessel, their squadron operations will be more ‘joined up’ than in the past. Unlike the Jovians, CEGA have so far avoided mounting large anti-ship weapons on their carriers. The Birmingham carries anti-ship missiles should it need to engage enemy capital ships at a distance; it also wields kinetic cannons to provide more general protection.
This pack includes one CEGA Birmingham-class model in 1/4000 Scale and its acrylic base. It includes all the resin and pewter parts to make a standard Birmingham-class ship.
You can include 1 Birmingham-class Fleet Carrier in your CEGA Fleet per 250 points of fleet size, at a cost of 82 points; make sure to protect it with with Exo-armor and fighter squadrons and smaller escort ships though!
